What is SAP Signavio?

Letizia Ciaccia (LC): The SAP Signavio Process Transformation Suite is a business process management software package that combines sophisticated modelling and effective workflow management. It allows users to create process models, analyse and optimise workflows. While also collaborating with team members, and ensure compliance with regulations and best practices.

Paul de Wildt (PdW): SAP Signavio provides business process best practices, industry benchmarks, data connectors and standard metrics for process mining. Scenarios using company data can also be modelled to measure the impact of changes. It also comes equipped with a suite of tools that enables organisations to monitor, manage and improve business processes.

What’s different about SAP Signavio?

PdW: It facilitate changes in an organisation, its processes and underlying applications much more quickly than traditional approaches.

By examining business processes at every level of an organisation, it enables companies to analyse and understand their processes and performance quickly and comprehensively. Thus providing them with all the information they need to determine what works and discard what doesn’t.

How can this help businesses with HR transformation?

LC: The SAP Signavio methodology uses Value Accelerators to speed up HR transformation. These accelerators can for instance jump-start the analysis of the Recruitment and Management of personal employee info, helping customers quickly understand their processes and make changes fast. There are also accelerators that provide the starting point to design the future process models.

Which HCM platform integrations are avaliable?

LC: SAP Signavio can be used with any system able to provide logs for processes. The data is fed into the Process Intelligence where process analyses is performed. Accelerators for HR have been designed to be used with SAP SuccessFactors.

PdW: The best practices provided are related to SAP SuccessFactors but based on SAP experience in terms of processes. They span the entire Acquire-to-Retire subprocesses, including the ones where the IT support system is very limited (for instance “Manage First Working Day”).

What is the Pre-study Acceleration Model?

PdW: With the pre-study acceleration model, partners can use the full suite for a period up to 6 months on an end-customer engagement as part of the project delivery.

The end-customer can experience the value of the suite without having the upfront investment. Following the end of the usage period, end-customers are given the option to purchase SAP Signavio licenses.
