Challenge

Adapting to remote training needs amidst global pandemic

Genmab was already leveraging almost the full scope of functionality from Workday including core HCM and Financial Management, and Workday Learning to facilitate virtual learning capabilities was always on their future roadmap.

When COVID-19 hit in early 202, like other organizations, Genmab asked many of their employees to work from home where possible. This expedited the need for a virtual Learning solution to enable Genmab employees to learn virtually as well as to deliver virtual training classes using the Workday functionality. As an existing customer of Strada, Genmab and the Strada team partnered together to deploy the Workday Learning functionality.

Solution

A rapid deployment for virtual learning solution with Workday Learning

Genmab and Strada already had a great relationship with Strada providing Application Management Services (AMS) for Workday HCM and Financial Management via a pool of hours, meaning we already knew their tenant and setup well. Leveraging this partnership, the Workday Learning deployment project kicked off on May 18th, 2020 with a flexible project timeline in place.

Both Strada and Genmab had extremely knowledgeable team members which allowed the project to run smoothly and according to the planned timeline. After a 12-week project, Genmab successfully went live with Workday Learning on August 24th, 2020. This followed with 2 weeks of post-production support from the Strada team to ensure the Genmab team were all set for success.
