Who we share your personal information with and where do we transfer it to?
We allow access to your personal information only to those who require such access to perform their tasks and duties, and to third parties who have a legitimate purpose for accessing it (such as for performing background checks, where legally permissible). We may disclose personal information to third parties on other lawful grounds, including where you have provided consent, to comply with our legal obligations, in response to a lawful request by public authorities (for example for tax, immigration, health and safety, national security or law enforcement purposes), as necessary to establish, exercise or defend against potential, threatened or actual legal claims, where necessary to protect your vital interests or those of another person, and/or in connection with the sale, assignment or other transfer of all or part of our business.
In some cases, the sharing described above may result in your personal information being transferred internationally, including from the European Union/European Economic Area to a country outside it. These countries may have data protection laws that are different to the laws of your country (and, in some cases, may not be as protective). We have taken appropriate safeguards to require that your personal information will remain protected in accordance with this Notice. The safeguards we have taken include implementing the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses for transfers of personal information to our non-EEA affiliates and partners.
What is the legal basis for processing your personal information?
Our primary legal basis for processing your personal information as part of the recruitment process is our legitimate interest in assessing your application and managing our recruitment process, to comply with the requirements imposed on us as (possible) employer, to take steps prior to entering an employment contract with you (where you are considered for employment) where we have your consent to do so (and you can withdraw at any time), and to protect the rights and interests of Strada, our employees, applicants and others, as required and permitted by applicable law.
If we ask you to provide personal information to comply with a legal requirement or to perform a contract with you, we will make this clear at the relevant time and advise you whether the provision of your personal information is mandatory or not (as well as of the possible consequences if you do not provide your personal information).
How long is your personal information retained?
Personal information will be stored in accordance with applicable laws and kept as long as needed to carry out the purposes described in this Notice or as otherwise required by applicable law. Generally, this means your personal information will be retained in accordance with the retention periods set out in Strada’s privacy policies (where you become our employee); or for a period of twelve (12) months after the submission date of your application unless you request that we delete your application prior to this point.
What rights do you have?
You can access, correct, update or request deletion, object or ask us to restrict processing of your personal information. You can exercise these rights by contacting us by email at Stradaprivacy@stradaglobal.com or completing the following Microsoft Form: https://forms.office.com/e/usKgYVXQYJ.
Similarly, if we have collected and process your personal information with your consent, then you can withdraw your consent at any time. This will not affect the lawfulness of any processing we conducted prior to your withdrawal, nor will it affect processing of your personal information conducted in reliance on other lawful processing grounds.
You have the right to complain to a data protection authority about our collection and use of your personal information. For more information, please contact your local data protection authority.
We respond to all reasonable requests received from individuals wishing to exercise their data protection rights in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
