This same spirit drives CTP’s digital transformation journey. As the company scales rapidly, it proactively chose to modernize and unify its recruitment process across 10 countries. The implementation of Workday Recruiting powered by Strada was not just about technology, but about creating a consistent, data-driven hiring experience that reflects CTP’s commitment to speed, transparency, and employee growth. At the heart of this transformation is a focus on empowering HR teams, improving candidate experience, and building a platform that supports the development of talent across the organization.

“CTP was growing faster than our processes in many areas, like tracking time to hire. Now, with Workday, we’re building actionable KPIs, tracking sources, and simplifying hiring across 10 countries.”

Standardizing recruiting: The need for a global process

Before implementing Workday Recruiting, local teams used mostly simple and pragmatic approaches - Excel, email, and trusted agencies. That autonomy worked well locally, but it limited scalability, visibility, and consistency at CTP’s scale. Rather than “fixing problems,” the goal was to elevate a successful model onto a single platform with shared standards and data.

With lean HR teams in many regions and a fast-growing business, CTP made a strategic decision to unify on a system, enable consistent reporting, and provide visibility into key metrics like headcount or time-to-hire. The need for a scalable, standardized solution was clear: streamline hiring, centralize data, and empower HR teams with better tools and insights.

Building while scaling: A unique implementation journey

CTP partnered with Strada to implement Workday Recruiting across all 10 countries in just six months. Strada’s deep Workday expertise and practical guidance helped CTP not only configure the system but also shape the underlying processes.

“We didn’t just implement a tool; we designed it completely around the unique processes we needed it to serve. Strada helped us define what good looks like, not only by guiding us through system configuration but by helping shape our recruitment strategy. They were more than an implementation partner, they were a sounding board, a process architect, and a trusted advisor.”

This was a six-month project to implement Workday Recruiting, with a strong partnership between Strada and CTP from start to finish. The Strada team went above and beyond to ensure a successful go-live bringing both structure and flexibility to a fast-moving transformation.

Rather than retrofitting a system into existing processes, CTP built both simultaneously. With minimal legacy constrains, the team had the freedom and challenge of designing almost from scratch. Strada’s expertise helped shape not just the configuration, but the underlying processes.

Jan led the HR design and business case development, ensuring local HR teams were engaged and aligned. Joost managed the project end-to-end, ensuring stakeholder alignment and driving adoption. And CTP’s Workday Solution Architect Ondřej, provided deep expertise and hands-on technical leadership, enabling smooth cooperation with Strada.

Early wins and evolving metrics

Three months post-go-live, all 10 countries are actively using Workday Recruiting. The benefits are already visible:

  • A single, integrated platform for requisitions, interviews, and digital offers
  • Consistent, comparable reporting across all countries and one source of truth
  • Candidate database and clearer visibility for hiring managers and HR
  • Better management of external agencies
  • A foundation for tracking time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, and source quality

To ensure continued success, CTP also partnered with Strada through Application Management Services (AMS). This ongoing support model allows CTP to evolve its Workday solution with agility—whether it’s refining configurations, enabling new features, or troubleshooting issues. Strada’s AMS team acts as an extension of CTP’s HRIT function—providing not just support, but strategic insight to continuously evolve the platform in line with business needs.

Driving adoption through culture

CTP’s approach to change management was refreshingly human. With no formal change management office, the team relied on transparency, collaboration, and a bit of gamification.

“We ran a challenge to see which country could complete the first hire using Workday. Gamifying it sparked excitement, and once experiencing its functions, teams didn’t need much convincing to start using it.”

Teams tracked their progress daily, shared updates in group chats, and celebrated milestones together. It wasn’t just about going live, it was about making the experience engaging and memorable. That energy helped drive adoption and build confidence in the new system.

Recognition also played a key role. From internal shoutouts to a public LinkedIn post naming every contributor, the team made sure their efforts didn’t go unnoticed. Special credit went to local HR champions for on-the-ground leadership and to Ondřej for solution architecture excellence and seamless collaboration with Strada.

Looking ahead: Building a future-ready HR ecosystem

CTP’s HR transformation is far from over. With a focus on continuous improvement, the team is already planning enhancements in learning, internal mobility, and compensation. But the foundation is set: a unified, scalable platform that supports CTP’s dynamic growth. Having proven CTP’s team can deliver at scale and speed, they are expanding capabilities from a position of strength. As CTP expands capabilities, the focus remains on empowering employees, enabling growth, and building a future-ready HR ecosystem.

Advice to other companies on the same journey

CTP’s transformation wasn’t just about implementing a system, it was about building a foundation for scale, agility, and employee growth. For organizations considering a similar path, Jan and Joost offer this advice:

“Don’t wait for perfection, start with what you have and build as you go. Involve your teams early, keep the process collaborative, and choose a partner who can guide both strategy and execution. Strada helped us move fast, stay aligned, and deliver real impact.”
