Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement 2025
Strada is committed to upholding the highest standards of integrity and accountability across its business operations and supply chain. This statement is made pursuant to Section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and describes the actions taken during the 2025 financial year to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking within Strada’s operations and supply chain.
Organization Structure and Supply Chain
Strada is a technology-enabled, people-powered organization delivering world-class payroll, human-capital-management, and financial-management solutions to businesses globally. With a workforce of approximately 9,000 professionals supporting operations across 186 countries, Strada combines advanced technology with human expertise to help organizations design and deliver scalable solutions that connect people, process, and performance.
The supply chain is not complex, consisting primarily of professional-service providers, technology vendors, and business support partners. Relationships with these suppliers are typically direct, long-term, and transparent, enabling effective oversight and engagement. Given this structure and the nature of Strada’s sector, the organization operates in an environment not generally considered high risk for modern slavery or human trafficking. Nevertheless, Strada remains vigilant and proactive in managing potential risks.
Governance, Policies, and Ethical Standards
Strada maintains a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking. This commitment is embedded within the Code of Conduct, Supplier Standards, and Whistleblowing Policy, which outline expected standards of behavior and accountability across all levels of the organization. In 2025, Strada initiated the construction of its ESG program, which will serve as the foundation for future social and human-rights governance initiatives. As part of this long-term effort, Strada aims to establish and integrate a formal Human Rights Policy to embed human rights due diligence within its social and compliance framework. Oversight of these initiatives resides with the ESG and Compliance functions under the supervision of senior leadership.
Risk Assessment and Due Diligence
Although Strada operates in sectors not generally associated with elevated modern-slavery risk, the organization maintains comprehensive due-diligence and risk-assessment practices to safeguard against potential exposure in service supply chains and outsourced operations, including supplier reviews at onboarding and renewal. In 2025, Strada initiated plans to incorporate human-rights considerations into its third party-risk-management framework as part of a broader effort to enhance supply-chain visibility and due diligence over time. Where issues are identified, Strada engages collaboratively with the supplier to implement corrective actions; persistent non-compliance may result in disengagement.
Awareness, Monitoring, and Continuous Improvement
Employees involved in procurement, supplier management, and compliance receive training to recognize indicators of modern slavery and to understand escalation procedures. Strada monitors the effectiveness of its controls through regular supplier assessments and reports outcomes to senior leadership as part of the ESG program.
Continuous-improvement actions are identified annually to strengthen oversight, training, and risk-management processes in line with evolving best practices.
